Participants of this initiative are provided with a BGE Smart Home kit that includes straightforward smart technology products like plugs, LEDs, and occupancy sensors. The initial step to kickstart your smart home journey involves downloading the BGE Smart Home app.

The BGE Smart Home app facilitates the setup process of your new smart home technology and enables you to conveniently oversee your devices through a unified platform. The app empowers you to:

• Monitor and regulate your smart home devices and energy usage at any time, from any location.
• Manage lighting, appliances, smart thermostats, and more.
• Receive alerts regarding your household's energy consumption levels.
• Conserve energy by implementing personalized automated smart home rules tailored to your individual energy requirements.
